I’ve read many, many Civil War letters…I “discovered” the letters of Ransom W. Towle that the play, Ransom: A Play with Music, and was historian and consultant for that play, performed 3 different years in Vermont. Wallace King is one of my very favorite letter writers, and was wondering if I might use some excerpts for a book I’m writing, to be published soon. This guy is very funny, and “dark.” Also, at your older site, it looked like there was an obit one might click on to see a large file, but I don’t see that anywhere. Thank you. -Joe Schenkman
